Background Body Part: When Bradley is telling the Gammas of their plan to cheat at the College X-Games, he's standing in front of a roaring fireplace with mounted bull horns above his head, making him look like you-know-who.Asleep in Class: During the first lecture, Bobby is snoring loudly until he wakes himself up and shouts "Mommy! I didn't do it!".Aside Comment: After Goofy remembers he needs to stay focused on his goals, Pete looks towards the camera and asks in deadpan, "Did I miss something?".Ascended Extra: Bobby plays a much bigger role in this film than he played in the predecessor, despite the trailer for the first film featuring him very prominently.Art Evolution: The movie uses digital inks for its animation as opposed to traditional ones.Arc Words: "It's about staying focused on your goals.".Apathetic Teacher: The only professor we get to see teaching seems to be on the verge of falling asleep on himself despite at least Max and PJ looking interested in the material, but takes proctoring more seriously. The woman at the unemployment office tells Goofy that you're never too old for an education. It's hard when your children leave the nest, but they'll always stay with you in your heart. As Goofy puts it and learns throughout the film, part of achieving a future is about staying focused on your goals. Both end up learning their lessons about having reaaonable boundaries while remaining connected once more by the end and have patched things up. That being said the root cause in this case is different, with Goofy and Max trying to establish how involved Goofy can be in Max's life as he matures rather then Goofy being terrified for Max's future.

Max, PJ and Bobby are ready to go to college and are planning to participate in their college's X-Games. It's the final installment of both the continuity started by Goof Troop and a show that began as part of The Disney Afternoon.
